How we continuously give back to the growers we partner with.

Direct Trade + Profit Sharing

We get our Salvadoran and Colombian coffee directly from the families growing it. That’s pretty cool!

Giving the farmers growing the coffee a fair price for the season’s harvest is also a pretty great way to do things. Not limiting the grower to a varying stock market price assures they don’t get less than they put into growing it!

But Blue Elk takes it one step further by sharing profits all the way down the line with the grower.

Every product that uses coffee from El Salvador that is roasted by us, the profits are divided equally. So out of the 16 dollars you pay for our one pound bags, 8 goes to Blue Elk and 8 goes to Santa Isabel. It’s that simple.

Not only the one pound bags, but all wholesale orders and k-cups, too.

We think that’s pretty amazing!
