This Colombian coffee from Valle del Cauca Excelso was decaffeinated in Colombia using ethyl acetate - an organic compound derived from sugar cane. 97% of the caffeine is removed from coffee beans by this process, which tends to leave a pleasantly sugary flavor.

This decaf is richly sweet and leads with a hint of orange zest with notes of almond butter, cocoa powder, crisp pear, with a medium-body and gentle acidity.
